Tonnta

This piece was inspired by the timber it is mounted on, which is a piece of Oak that was the seating of an old school desk and the song we learned while there - Trasna na dTonnta. The copper waves have been flame painted, oxidising the copper to create different shades, and then sealed with lacquer to preserve it.
